ADA Camp Midicha

Location: YMCA Camp Copneconic, Fenton, MI
Ages 8-17 | 5-9
Camp Midicha is an overnight and day camp established in 1955. This camp will host over 300 campers ages 5-17 at the YMCA Camp Copneconic located just south of Flint, Michigan. Campers will enjoy swimming, kayaking, canoeing, hiking, archery, ropes course, sing-a-longs, campfire, arts & crafts and tons of other fun activities
ADA Camp is a lifeline for children living with diabetes to develop the critical skills needed to thrive while managing their diabetes. Attending camp helps children develop social skills, self-respect and life-long friendships. Campers meet others just like them while encouraging independence, building self-confidence and gaining an awareness of a healthy lifestyle through education, nutrition, exercise, glucose control, and emotional well-being
ADA Tour de Cure 2025 - Michigan

What is Tour de Cure?
• For more than 30 years, Tour de Cure has served as the American Diabetes Association’s (ADA’s) signature cycling and fundraising event that promotes our mission and healthy living.
• Tour de Cure holds strong support from the business community, including sponsorship and corporate teams, and engages families and individuals who are passionate about our mission and want to impact the lives of those living with diabetes.
• Tour de Cure events raise funding for research, advocacy, and education to support the mission of the ADA.
Diabetes Youth Services (DYS) Little Shots Day Camp

Ages 5-10
Little Shots Day Camp is a 4-day experience designed for children living with Type 1 diabetes ages 5-10. At Little Shots, campers are immersed in opportunities to not only make connections with other kids living with T1D, but also learn about independent diabetes management through fun hands-on activities. Your camper will walk away with fun memories, new friends, and a better understanding of Type 1 diabetes. For kids, this is often the first place they meet another child with diabetes. At Little Shots, they do not feel different because they are just like everyone else. Parents have peace of mind that their child is safe and cared for with qualified healthcare professionals surrounding them.
